Established in 1999, the SFU Field Lacrosse Camps offer an accelerated level of instruction for experienced and developing lacrosse players who want to take their game to the next level. Campers will be challenged in an individual and team learning environment, in order to gain a thorough understanding of fundamentals and advanced performance skills.
After a challenging day on the field, "live-in" campers experience campus life as they enjoy a wide range of activities that include swimming, gym games, a campus tour and more.
This overnight camp will provide a fun and positive environment to further develop the skills of participants and their understanding of field lacrosse. Athletes will participate in a wide range of challenging drills and games to improve such techniques as passing and catching with both hands, ball protection, shooting technique and dodges. This camp will also introduce the basics of offensive movement and defensive tactics. Participants will build confidence in their abilities while encouraging the growth of player strengths and the improvement of their weaknesses.
